Sentient Voice Cookie Notice
Effective Date: June 19, 2026 | Last Updated: June 19, 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how Long Beach Networks LLC, doing business as Sentient Voice ("Company," "Sentient Voice," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at www.sentientvoice.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information more generally.
This Notice applies to our Site. It does not apply to cookies or similar technologies used within our hosted UCaaS application by our business customers; those are addressed in our Privacy Policy and our agreements with those customers.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to the site's owner. "Similar technologies" include pixels, web beacons, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) that perform comparable functions.
We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this Notice.
1.1 First-Party vs. Third-Party Cookies
- First-party cookies are set by Sentient Voice when you visit our Site.
- Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we use on the Site (such as analytics or marketing vendors). Those companies process the data they collect under their own privacy policies.
1.2 Session vs. Persistent Cookies
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies on the Site:
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, secure areas, load balancing, and fraud prevention. The Site cannot function properly without these cookies, and they cannot be disabled in our preference center. They do not store personally identifiable information for marketing purposes.
2.2 Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make (such as your language or region) and provide enhanced features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you disable these cookies, some functionality may not work properly.
2.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting information such as pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, and error messages. We use this information to improve how the Site works. The information collected is typically aggregated; where it is not, it is treated as personal information under our Privacy Policy.
2.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver content, including advertisements, that is more relevant to you and your interests. They may also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are usually set by advertising networks with our permission and may track your browsing across other websites.
3. Specific Cookies in Use
The table below summarizes the categories of cookies in use on the Site. The specific cookies in each category, including provider names, purposes, and durations, are listed in our cookie preference center on the Site, which is updated as our use of cookies changes.
| Category | Typical Purpose / Examples of Providers | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Session management, authentication, load balancing, security, fraud prevention. Primarily first-party. | Session to 1 year |
| Functional | Preference storage, chat widgets, embedded video players, form-fill helpers. May include first-party and third-party providers (e.g., customer support chat). | Session to 1 year |
| Analytics / Performance | Aggregate usage measurement, page performance, A/B testing. Examples may include Google Analytics and similar analytics providers. | Up to 2 years |
| Marketing / Advertising | Campaign measurement, retargeting, conversion tracking. Examples may include LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and similar advertising providers. | Up to 2 years |
Note: This table describes the categories of cookies that may be present on the Site. For the current, specific list of cookies and their providers, please open the cookie preference center linked in the footer of the Site.
4. How We Use Information Collected Through Cookies
We use information collected through cookies to:
- Operate, secure, and authenticate access to the Site.
- Remember your preferences and improve your experience.
- Understand Site traffic, usage patterns, and performance.
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and tailor content we believe may be of interest to you.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We do not "sell" personal information collected through cookies for monetary consideration, and we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA/CPRA"), unless we have provided you with the opportunity to opt out and you have not done so. If our practices change, we will update this Notice and the cookie preference center accordingly.
5. Your Choices
5.1 Cookie Preference Center
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the cookie preference center available on the Site. You can change your choices at any time by returning to the preference center. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the Site relies on them to function.
5.2 Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies, delete cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. The procedure varies by browser. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly.
5.3 Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Our Site honors the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal where required by law. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information under the CCPA/CPRA for that browser and device. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals, we do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" headers.
5.4 Industry Opt-Outs
For interest-based advertising cookies set by third parties, you can opt out through industry programs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (youronlinechoices.eu). Opting out through these programs does not stop all advertising — it limits the use of cookies for interest-based targeting.
6. Third-Party Services
Some cookies on the Site are set by third parties, including analytics, advertising, customer support, and content delivery providers. These third parties may collect information about your activity on the Site and on other sites and services over time. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review them.
7. California Residents
If you are a California resident, the cookie preference center and the GPC handling described in Section 5 are the primary mechanisms for exercising your right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. For additional California rights and how to exercise them, see the California section of our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the Site.
